The Schneider Hotel is set on the slopes of Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort in the Hikage Ski Area and is family-friendly with ski-in ski-out convenience. It is located steps away from the Kandahar and Utopia lifts, and a short walk or slide down to Hikage Gondola Station, the Kids Park and the Japan Ski Museum. The hotel is 100 km from Shinshu-Matsumoto.
Services and Access
The hotel runs a regular snow van shuttle to/from the hotel from 5:15pm to 10:15pm. The first snow van shuttle leaves at 5:15 pm. Guests arriving during the day via the Nozawa Onsen Liner Bus are a short 10-minute walk over snow away from the hotel. Public parking costs JPY 500 per day. The ski resort runs a shuttle bus from both recommended parking lots to P1 near Nagasaka Gondola. Complimentary luggage collection service is available at 9:10am, 10:25am, 12:55pm, 2:05pm, 3:40pm & 4:30pm. Guests with heavy luggage can go to the front desk at Nozawaya. The oversnow meeting point for arrivals is outside the Craft Room Cafe, opposite the Nagasaka Gondola. The Moving Walkway provides an easy daytime walk to the hotel.
